test n tune night Willowbank - sept 4

Postby oldmate » Sat Aug 24, 2013 10:33 pm

Me and a couple of boys from ozfoz heading to the test and tune night at Willowbank on September 4. Any of you want to help me put them to shame (hopefully). :-)
Or at least get a time for the quarter as a base to improve on.

Had a great night. Only 3 of us ended up going (myself plus 2 foresters). Proud to say that I represented and was the fastest on the night running a 14.941sec 1/4 mile. This was with 3/4 tank of fuel, spare tyre in and roof racks still on. Time now for saving and spending fest. Want to crack that 14sec mark next time. Moving house and changing jobs in the next 3 months which is going to prolong this a bit but I just look forward to tax time next year.

I was car 104.

Nice work man. Eventually I'll get around to running a quarter mile, but I'm in no rush; especially as I haven't done anything to increase power yet.

Going to have to organise another night. Probs around august-ish, should have tune done buy then and a fresh service. Will be good to see the difference in times from the mods since last time.
