Willowbank Test and Tune...3/4/13

Willowbank Test and Tune...3/4/13

Postby kiahatsiu » Sun Feb 17, 2013 6:36 pm

Anyone interested in going to Willowbank on Wednesday night? From the downshift meet there are few cars that would get some interesting results, namely the H6's with full exhausts and tunes. It would be great to see what they actually do (I suspect it would be very surprising).

Costs $45 to race, that includes one passenger as "pit crew". Need an approved helmet and a long sleeved shirt and long pants nee jeans.

Ian.

I am back to work tomorrow, so back in Smarch. Smarch the 20th. If i feel energetic I might think about going that night. That said. I want to change my waste gate actuator and all the hose clamps on my pipe work before I head out there, as she leaks like a pressurised sieve.

Good day again people.
The time has nearly come for me to return to Australian shores for a month, so I propose a liberty trip to the drags.
Come and test your power mods at the one true measure of said power, the trap speed. Come test you ability to launch by setting a blistering time. Come laugh at Kiahatsiu's ham fisted (footed) attempts to get the best 60's out of his peaky 1.6 ton land boat. Come marvel at the nadir of society's bell curve that is the crowd at a test and tune.

I suggest a Wednesday night as the crowd will be smaller. Though I could be talked into a Saturday.

I own a HQ now.

Don't talk about my people like that.

And there's no bell curves, or any other corners. Noob.

H6 turbo no workey yet says a little bird, fidgeting with tune and shit.

I could take the tonner out but it'd break a gearbox and wouldn't stop before the sand
