I will have to change to a maybe Kody. If it's afternoon, I should be able to. But I won't know closer till the date :(

On the plus side, it's because of a new job. Mo' Money is always good :)

It will be afternoon, my boss is an ass and will probably make me work the morning. If anyone wants any tools, let me know before the cruise, I'll probably be coming straight from Masters, with all of my 5% discount XD

I'm thinking around 1pm? By the time we hit Nebo the traffic should have abated a bit? Congrats on the new job :D

I am pretty much definite now. The only variable for me is if all my bits turn up for the new build. If that happens, the car will be sadly off the road.
Edit: and this looks like a jerry can job for me, just in case.

Good to hear. If fuel is an issue I can arrange a stop if you like? I'd hope you don't go through a tank in 200km or so :)

Good to hear, is the new job going well?

Final thing to sort is a meeting time. I think a few people preferred afternoon, 12pm, 1pm? What times can we arrange?
Also is doing it backwards from Woodford fine or do we want to meet somewhere around Aspley/Nundah/The Gap, dozens of options?

I'll be right. I'll supply my own fuel if need be.

I should be good. Ill make decision once u guys all decide on a final time/place then go from there. I'd prolly prefer to meet up at the Gap end as well, but if everyone's meeting elsewhere Ill do my best to get there

If you're sure Ian, if you're running e85 I don't know whether you'll even get it once we are past glorious. If you have a UHF I'll have one so if you need to pull over for a refuel we can arrange that XD

Well if that's the majority then I don't mind, as I said previously I was just thinking of the guys at the sunny coast.

If we do meet at the gap, does anyone know of a decent area to meet?
Also, does anyone want to take the lead? I'm positive you guys do not want to follow my slow ass 2.5i :D

There's a few places you could meet over that way. You could either meet somewhere like the Mt Cootha Botanic Gardens (still 10 mins from the start) or there's a ranger station literally right at the start of the drive. The Ranger station has a car park etc, but I'm not sure if they have a boom gate on it. They never used to. The Gap Tavern carpark is another option. I'll lead for a while if needed (get the 2.5 vs 3.0R rivalry going :D ), but I'm also happy to sit out at the back (depends if I have the kids or not - although it's so hard to drive this road and not give it everything).
