I'll be interested to visit the Gold Coast if work sends me to Brisbane for the week (it will be the week after the Melb trip). If that happens, I'll start a new thread and leave this for the Mt Glorious State of Origin meet :D

mate i'd be keen! i do runs up there weekly.. you've gotta be real carefull going up that hill now, my mate just got done 100 in a 70 zone up there, the cops have been hiding on the side streets.. not that i speed much, its just not very well signed so you really have no idea what the speed limit is the whole time haha

yea did the nebo run a few times in mine (not overly exciting in a 2.5 n/a...) with some mates and cops have been there both times but we saw them pretty early luckily. great drive though!

lochie its not the size of the engine that matters, its how you use it! i used to do runs up there in my little old lancer.. scary how well itd pull through corners haha. if you're keen to have a play up there or go for a cruise, id be happy to finally meet some people with liberty's!

yea yea i know, and i still find it fun, but would rather a little more power and sound to play with. handles extremely well, especially the new pirelli's the previous owner put on just before selling:)

I'm keen for a sunday morning run. I've got kids so I'll be up at 5, but maybe we could meet at a more sane time. Could meet in the CBD for coffee @ 7ish? or 8?? Getting on the road early is my preference.

Alternative meet point would be at the bottom of cooth, i'll add a map. Start point A is (I rekon) THE BEST coffee in Brisbane. Although no coffee, start point B has fuel, also good for driving...

Marker D is the fernvale pie shop, very very good. There is also a spot half way over the mountain that makes great food and coffee, if we wanted to skip cbd coffee, we could start at the BP, drive halfway over the mountain, stop for a bit then continue on.

Spot E is just 2 minutes from my house :D, and plenty of parks to gather/take photos/whatever.

What do yall think??

Who's keen for a drive from somewhere to somewhere else next sunday 3rd June?

Is anyone in Cairns?
Turns out I now live up on the Cape.... full of dirt roads and not a 98RON bowser for about 250km :(
