johnb is thinking of upgrading his turbo, maybe you could buy the factory turbo off him and boost the laser.

I just got back from a 2900km trip to Brisbane and back but hell yeah, I'm in (unless the date conflicts with any other events I can't recall right at this moment).

Re-update it and take out the bit about the $24 park fee - you don't pay if you are just driving through :) You can now just drive straight past the entry gates; only get a pass if you are staying in the park using the facilities.

Also, it's $16 in Summer...

Heh.. No, it's a long trip down from Sydney to do that route in a day :)

I've done it before in the opposite direction - stayed overnight in Adaminaby and drove round to Thredbo, stayed overnight in Thredbo with my folks then back to Sydney.
