Charity Cruise 1st November

Charity Cruise 1st November

Postby Kevlar GT » Wed Sep 30, 2009 4:33 pm

Taken from another site, so don't contact me for details but this could be a good event to show off the Liberty's. It's for a very good cause too.

Host: The RusHHouR Underground - Auto-Vigilante's
Type: Causes - Fundraiser
Date: Sunday, November 1, 2009
Time: 11:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Phillip
Street: Irving
City/Town: Canberra, Australia

It’s on again !
This time with the support of 106.3 and CPS Credit Union

This year’s charity will be for the same place, The Canberra Newborn Intensive Care Unit. (NICU)

We raised an amazing $7500.00 last November, that all went towards a mobile intensive care unit that will be able to be used on helicopters, Ambulance’s etc. Just like the ones that they use at the hospital but one that can be used anywhere and at any time..
Sadly the cost of this life saving package will cost around $180,000.00
so the $7500.00 we made last year was just the start.

Mix 106.3 and CPS Credit Union have also arranged other means of fundraising so help them if you can as well.

the plan is: (and this might change.)

Meet time: 11:00am, Phillip Ice-skate car park.

Departure from Phillip around 12:00pm.

Meet for BBQ and Raffle.... Location to be advised.

All Cars, Bikes, Trucks and shopping trolleys are welcome to come along.

There is NO age limit to this event. So bring the family along.

Charity stickers will be on sale for $10 at Phillip

BBQ and Raffle prizes to be advised.

If you own a store or have some items you would like to sell on the day in aid of this fund raiser please email me your idea’s to t.bonfield@hotmail.

All money raised on the day will be counted up on the day by a selected few of the RH members or staff from the CPS credit union and announced at the end of the day. 100% of it donated to the NICU

If your able to list it on any other sites, please send the link to my email so I can keep a tally of how many people and car’s to expect on the day.

So come along, have some fun and help us raise as much as possible for the NICU.
Every baby deserves a fighting chance.

Sincerely, Tyson.
P.S feel free to call me anytime with any questions.

Yeah mate, would be good to get a group of us out for a drive. It's local after all and that way most people only need to account for a couple of hours. Got a month to plan for it I guess. Surely most people could manage that, especially if they tell the other half they are rasing money for the new born ICU.

All good mate, the best thing about this one is it's local and someone lese has organised it too !

Depending on the Sydney dates you'll probably get a couple of us Canberra people on it.

The ol Rushhour crew aye?

These are the dicks that drive stupidly and do burnouts every thursday night and got busted.. 200+ cars one night.. all got defected.

Im sure the liberty's will look very good next to their VN commodores and KA laser's with FPR stickers down the doors..

My drive to Wagga and back was great. Man that is an easy drive. They've improved the roads quitre a bit too - especially on the road headin gback to Canberra. Some sectiones are so smoothe. Convoyed up with a pimped up Hiace van and a mazda 6 wagon and sat at a really good pace most of the way home.
