Awesome stuff. Mate, to get to Tharwa shops you head towards Banks/Condor etc and keep drivingsouth past the suburbs, you'll cross Tharwa bridge and then veer left and make the first turn. The shop (actually it's a country town type general store) is just up that road on the left. I'll be there around 10.30am.

Yeah, sort of. It's been re-engineered to have traffic go across it but they still have to reattach the top part to make it look like it used to.

Just a quick update on the details from Lance,

Now just confirming that its the area with the playground, NOT the first one area on the corner.

I'll be wearing my liberty.asn top and I'll either be in my MY07 GTB or a blue RAV4. There should be heaps of subies around if you're not sure.

bring plenty to drink, 'cause it's going to be another hot one.

I have the liberty.asn shirt on too. Definitely brining heaps of water. I doubt I will stick around for a bbq but I'll stay long enough to snap some pics.

thanks for organising the event Lance, was a nice day and a nice place. It was a good turn out, and your mate swung by about half hour after you left, looking for you.

I took a trip via the tracking station, that was a nice road to get a bit of a fang going. but the way home mighty fun too :)

will have to visit again, actually more then likely next week :)

btw my names matt, if you really, really, really wanted to know...

Name is Kev mate.

Matt, glad you took the tracking station road, something about that asphalt that is just awesome and sticky. I went back that way but didn't do the tracking station section. Got stuck behind a bloke that would not go above 80 and hit the brakes at every corner, this was from the tidbinbilla turn to the point hut turn. On the best part of the road.

good event Lance. More numbers needed at the next one, can't believe people are so passionate about there cars but never seem to want to drive them (with others anyway).

yeah my camera was here in my flat :(

I got stuck behind a learner shortly after leaving, and it was hell :( but only was held back for 2-3 mins. then I got some open road till the tracking station, then from the station hit 3 cars driving slow, then they turned off at point hut and botted in the loud pedal and got back up to speed :)

will be heading back on the weekend with my flat mate for another drive :)

was good to see a good range of model cars, especially what i thought was one of the new wrx sedan.

Yeah Steve, stole that new WRX off his boss, we met up at kippax and cruised in, his regular WRX (210awkw) was in the shop, and it's soon to have one of those TD05's i was selling on it, but yeah good fun. we should all get together more offten.
