Not a cruise, but ACT question

Not a cruise, but ACT question

Postby sundayDriver » Wed Jun 11, 2014 10:13 pm

Hi,
anyone notice Canberra's roads are getting more sh!t every day. well I ran out of luck and I ran over a pot hole. not a small one either. so I've had the wheels fixed, but I'm going to make a claim against TAMS.

I have the following addressee as a potential point of contact:
Director, Governance

Territory and Municipal Services Directorate
GPO Box 158
Canberra ACT 2601

but has anyone already made a successful claim against TAMS? any advice, strategies?

I've got photos of the road and invoices so I just need to draft the letter and send it off.

Thanks.

In my experience with VicRoads (if anything like TAMS), if you are the first to report it, then nothing happens. If it has been reported before, and they haven't fixed it, then you might have a claim.
ASCII a stupid question, get a stupid ANSI!
