Hey All,

Since moving to Canberra in the last 6 months I've done more driving (k's wise) than I have in 2 years in Adelaide. We are so lucky to be in such an awesome position in NSW. It's 2hrs to anywhere decent (no matter the season!) And if you plan things right, you can make an enjoyable drive out of it.

I often (every other weekend generally, and even during the week) go for random drives. To the coast, to the snow, a couple of weekends ago we (a mate and I) drove to Bega!! I don't even know where that is, but apparently there's a cheese factory there.

Anyway, what I guess I'm trying to say is, it's awesome fun driving to random towns, having a meal then heading home. Or driving to the coast, going for a swim, eating then driving back (via the good roads of course!) So next time I'm going on these drives I'll throw a post in here and extend my invitation to anyone that's interested! Better subscribe, usually I make up my mind on the day OR decide Friday that I'm going to Melbourne for that weekend

Plus it's a good excuse to see some other ACT Lib drivers

Keep us posted, I love random cruises. I did a nice spirited drive out Cotter way on the weekend with a few mates. I have family in Wollongong so I'm headed out that way a lot as well. I only moved here a year ago and been wanting to go Batemans region just for a drive, never got around to it yet.
I'm not available from now until Feb but I'd be keen to join you sometime next year on one of your cruises

Sounds great Nathan!! Yeah I've only been here 6 months but enjoying the area. Went for a quick drive yesterday out to Corrin Forest, pretty nice drive!! And yeah, I head out to bateman's and Sydney/Wollongong pretty often so I'll keep everyone posted. Some awesome roads if you're willing to extend the trip for 30mins-1hr!

But yeah, busy time of the year for me too, need to sell my old car and on holidays for a couple of weeks. Getting the car tinted and putting opti-coat on it too. Doubt I'll be doing much 'till mid January.
