Great opportunity for a awesome day out! I'm thinking we go for a cruise down to Cooma and check out the sprint.
Ive also posted this on rexnet so we can get a mad convoy of subies again...
The entry list is nothing short of amazing... Few rexies, a liberty, evos, a Diablo, Gallardo, Murclelago LP640 hmmmm LAMBOS
You know you want to come see some lambos smash it up a runway...

Hey Guys,

I would be interested in the drive, that is if I own a car before you all head out. As some of you are not aware the long weekend of the 6th (Grand Final Weekend), I lost traction going around a round about and wrote my car off. I hit a square gutter with the wheels full lock right, pretty much ripped the top bolt of the lower section of the suspension off. I could see the suspension was bent as well not to mention the suspension mount at the top of the strut was probably banged up.

So I am currently on the hunt for a car, and failing any major mechanical issues I should be in a new car after the weekend. So a long drive with you guys would be something I could do.

I am not going to mention the new car I am looking at but if i get it in time for the meet you will find out what car it is. :)

Kev or Glenn don't give it away or I will S.Y.I.T.E.W.A.P

Cheers Matty

Ah dude going too hard! What happened to your car now? Good that you walked away though :).

Got any photos after the accident? Hopefully hopping into a turbooosh? B4 maybe?

the road was greazy because it rained for about 5 minutes (lots of dirt from cleary brothers trucks). I left my sisters place 10 minutes after it stopped, came up to a roundabout. Broke for the roundabout but did not break enough for the conditions. When i turned right in the middle of the roundabout the car lost traction and the rear pushed the car straight over a square gutter. I will add a thread up soon just need to download the photos.

So tomorrow I make a deposit of $500 on the car, then pick it up on Wednesday arvo. Yes Zac it does make turboooosh noise.

cheers Matt.

Bugger! Unfortunate story Matt, glad nobody was hurt. Too much damage to buy the car back from insurance? Hope to see you come along in the new beast (whatever it is haha) :)

There's a rally on in Tumut the same day, about 3hrs drive from Cooma airport. Shame one isn't on the Sunday as that would have made for a great weekend.

Nathan, the assessor of the damage said just looking at the damage to the wheel and suspension was enough to total the sum of the car insured. Which the car was insured for $13,450. Looking at the damage there was not much to be seen bar the broken suspension and panel damage.
