I would have to aggree with the FCAI in regards to the new models... But the original GT's & first Gen XT's were a wagon IMO.

The best plates are ones that can be immediately understood & you don't need to stand there for 5 min trying to work out what the F*** there trying to say, or have the owner translate it for you.

Spotted on a white Sti Impreza this afternoon:

FL 11 BY - Fly By

Personal favourites:

FLU 77R - For those with turbo flutter
GTW 46N - For those GT Liberty Wags owners
GT 53 DN - For those GT Liberty Sedan owners

But the WA boys can have more fun than us, they can have up to 7 letter/number combination's.

say like... TORPEDO??

actually you can more than 7 characters (over 7 characters go on a poly carb plate instead of a metal punched plate and its a once off payment for personalised plates too)

I actually like personalised plates as long as they are a bit clever or have relavance to the car... mine are cos of my freelance company name Torpedo Creative, but have to admit it adds to the aggressive stance of the GT too

*Im sure it felt faster after I fitted the plates* ;)
