[JAPAN] Spotted

Postby Corsair » Thu Dec 27, 2012 3:39 pm

Saw these rolling around the streets of Nagasaki the other day... Anyone here?

Image
Also had a fairly large exhaust too.
Image
The above one also had a zero sports grille and front lip.

Seen plenty more, but never enough time to get the camera out. Will keep trying though. :D
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

Spend 20mins looking at any road outside a major city in Japan and you'll see Legacy wagons everywhere. Go near a ski resort and 60% of the carpark will be Legacy wagons. The ratio of Wagons to Sedans in Japan is pretty much the same as the ratio of Sedans to Wagons here. Not much love for sedans over there but wagons

Yeah agreed. Wagons are really popular in Japan.

+1 to above posters wagon comments. There's even a mod magazine called 'Wagonist'.
Also, spotted this parked in a temple in Kamakura a day ago... Subaru, the monks choice.

I am staying in central Tokyo for the most part. Just took some visiting friends to Kamakura for a day trip. Good luck with the move... I miss living here.

Sounds exactly like NZ. Legacys everywhere, mostly wagons and mostly turbo and also the most common car on the ski resorts!
