Stage 3 - $400 10-12 hours (Machine Polisher) Opti-Coat 2.0 sealant included.

Opticoat is not a sealant, it's a coating/ permanent paint protection. Application and preparation is a whole different ball game compared to a sealant as it cant be wiped off and takes a while to learn how to apply it properly without getting get high spots, cloudyness, uneven coverage etc. It's a clear fluid that flashes soon after hitting the paint, you need to learn on your own, family cars and a few syringes to get used to it. You also have to make sure you don't have any polishing oils, defects, water on the paint before it goes on. It took a good 3 months and three full syringes before I felt comfortable in offering the coating to people. Otherwise you might be caught out on some random's car having to start all over again the next day.

You shouldn't be offering it on your price list if you don't even know how to do it yet
Makes me wonder what else don't you know how to do on that list of yours...

Simply on their for people who want to book in down the track, the gentelman that originaly asked me to purchase it so it could be applied to his car booked in for the first week of January. If someone was to ask for it done on their car next weekend I would simply say sorry im not ready to apply it until after early January once I have seen the results on the gentlemans car who I purchased it to use on.

did another 2.5i over the weekend, paint was in quite good condition. only did light polish (LC CCS white) and a wax, no compound was needed.

painted the brake calipers at the customers request, so did a full wheel arch detail while I was down there.

brakes where done with killrust primer, gloss black and a clear coat.

sorry for the iphone pics, the camera had been borrowed for the day.
