Here are the following warranty issues with my 2010 GT auto
#1 Front suspension noise ( fixed first warranty repair job)
#2 Rear suspension noise (2nd warranty repair job not fixed waiting for parts to come from japan 4 weeks later)
#3 now the left passenger sit is making louder and louder noise when no one is sitting there. (I’ve to book in again for warranty repair the 3rd time.) The noise becomes louder and louder and it’s very depressing.
#4 2 place have defective paints that might need to repaint. There are marks inside the clear coat and paint that can’t be washed off.
#5 when stoping at the red light the aircon compressor going on and off would slightly move the car. (not sure if this is happening to all GT yet so not sure if it’s under warranty)
#6 sun glass holder is kind of loose and making noise sometimes on bumpy road. (Not sure if this is happening to all GT, waiting to confirm it with other GT owner.)
It seems the more I drive the car the more problems starting to appear. I feel the car is loose and not safe to drive. All these issues makes me very worry about the build quality of the car and safety. Considering all the recent news and death about Toyota’s defective cars.
I had to pay $66 to do wheel alignment at your service center Because I really worry about the safety of the car. Normally new cars shouldn’t new wheel alignments. I tried to contact Subaru Australia to ask for refund the $66 and car replacement but they pushed me back to the dealership.
What do you guys think I should do? I don't have the time to keep sending the car back to warranty repair. Considering I think there are still at least 4 more warranty repair job left to do. and I have to pay $30 per day for their loan car..
We can't ask for car replacements?
Really need some professional advise here, Lawyer advice too please.
If you have a MY10 GT please let me know if you have the same problems too. thank you.

Hows your fuel economy been going? Did it improve?

Does Australia have 'lemon laws'? Whereby if you get more than 3 things wrong within a certain time period, you're entitled to a replacement?

No I think it's still around 405 or 410kms per tank. even with I mode the whole time.

Fair trading called me earlier and told me there is no lemon laws in Australia. But ask me to lodge a formal complaint with all the documents so they can look into the issue.
I just noticed new noise coming from the aircon when gear in Drive foot on break at red light.
Dealer just email me back and say they will provide me a loan car till the car is repaired.
I've only had the car for less than 3 weeks?
Toyota owns subaru shares now. I wonder if that's why Subaru's build quality droped.

There is no way that they should be asking you to pay for a loan car on a warranty repair. When you book it in demand a complimentary loan car

Exactly, especially if it's only been in your ownership for 3 weeks. That is appalling.

Hmmm.
I have a new Liberty Gt 2010 Auto Wagon, which I have had for a few weeks and have not had the majority of issues that you mention as of yet.
The only issue that I have noticed so far is some intermittent creaking/rattling above my head (maybe sunglass case). I had the same issue with my WRX in 1997 (sunroof rattling) and I just learnt to live with it, because I learnt the hard way what people do to "test" whether they have fixed rattles and creaks in your new car!
I have been varying between highway driving, stop/start traffic driving, reasonably hard take offs, short trip driving and long trip driving. I still have not pushed it beyond 5,500rpm max and keep it mostly under 4k but with alot of variation and am just constantly blown away by its low down response and overall luxurious feel. When I have pushed it beyond 4k it just responds beautifully.
I do notice in "paddle shift mode" that second gear feels rather flat ie no kick and the in-gear acceleration can stutter and feel slightly "doughy" in all gears up to 4k, but in full auto mode this does not seem to be as much of a problem.
This weekend as I hit 1,300kms I pushed it reasonably hard along Bell's Line Road from Lithgow to North Richmond, which has some nice windy roads and the suspension and wheel alignment felt fine.
I do notice that the fuel economy seems to be *alot* better on open roads than with stop/start driving. I attribute this to the fact that the instant l/100kms in 5th gear without acceleration sits at 2l/100km, give it some toe and this goes up to 50l/100km! That is a huge difference, so how you drive would have a massive effect on the fuel economy.
Once I hit 1,600kms I plan to push it a little harder and then push it to redline prior to having an initial service.
We will see if any of the issues that you have mentioned begin to surface as I push the car harder.

Where do you live? Perhaps you're surrounded by extremely bumpy roads that would have any car to shudder and creak?

You can ask - they won't though.
Does it rattle with a passenger in the seat? Can you get a pax to sit in the front and back and press on various parts of the trim / seat to help isolate which part fo the car the noise comes from? While it might sound like it's coming from the seat, I have had experiences where the sound has come form somewhere else entirely and slightly tweaking a panel or something has made it go away...
It actually sounds like something jiggling like a cable or connector hitting a piece of plastic - maybe check the sensor looms to see if they may be able to hit something?
Pad under the seat with towels and see if that removed the noise, then remove step by step to find out where it originates?

If someone is sitting there then there is no sound. and even if you get someone to sit there for a while and then get off. the noise is still less. but after a day or half a day the noise will get louder and louder.
Already went in repair 3 times for other problem and now this is another problem needs to go in to repair again.
