Hey Everyone,

Ive been looking at my grill on my 2002 RX Lib (MY03) lately and Ive been tossing up whether or not to de-badge it.
Im interested to know what mods you have done to your Gen 3's grills?
The Gen 4's mesh grill without the badge looks sweet, (not sure what its called... theres so many)
But it obviously wouldnt fit on my car.

Just interested to see what youve done.
Post pictures if possible, Otherwise just walk us through it.

i tried to do a grill on my car but the latch for the bonnet is in the middle. if you remove the centre section it will become very flexable, the centre is there for strength. gen 4 grills dont go up with the bonnet so they dont need the centre

what ive done with my gen 3
is that ive debadged the rear badges, but beware the liberty badge has 2 holes behind it, so what i did was get a badge from a gen iv lib and put it on, looks pretty shweet!
with my grill, i hav one of the honeycomb grills on mine but i resprayed the chrome trim to a satin black and removed the subaru badge as advised by jdm rsk and resprayed the back of it satin black also

The Gen3 Heritage and some B4s had a mesh grill similar to the Gen4 B-Spec version. You might be able to find one at a wreckers. There are also a few JDM versions that can be sourced from places like Import Monster.
