Need help: Car Security

Hi guys,

Just wondering what kind of car security do you guys recommend. Money isn't too much of a problem.

Reason I ask is that I was going to go for the Brant Car Security system. I went online and left my details for them to contact me. They called me 3 times while I was at work and on the 3rd left a message "Pick up you wanker". Note the fact I work at the Casino which means 75cm thick concrete above me and well below ground.

Them being a security company I thought I wouldn't want to work with them if they have people (especially in the customer service department) saying such things on answering machines.

Suggestions and opinions would be great.

Thanks,

-Martin.

Poor customer service. I wouldn't be dealing with them myself but I would certainly letting their management know how they try to attract potential customers

Yes. What was worse was the fact they had their number silent with every occasion not leaving a message until the 3rd miss call (which was what I mentioned above). If they left a message on how to contact them I would have called during one of my four breaks.

Bloody hell, cannot believe they left that message Martin and especially after calling using private numbers. I'd be tracking down the manager and reporting this tool, but I wouldnt be giving them my business.

^ what he said. Why couldn't it have been some other prank caller or a friend?

Expected 2 calls on my phone. One being my work's HR department which doesn't have a private number (and I did talk to them after) and Brant Car Security.

This number for my phone is only for a small group of people. I would put a lot of money on it being Brant.

I honestly doubt that Brant would have been that rude to you. My money is that it's someone else who called.

Nah it was definately Brant. Called them today to complain and their response was that they are use to having people put contact details and not answering their phone and were upset.

I have since gone with Mongoose security with their MAP80G with tilt/freq sensors as well as their GPS tracking essentially their top of the range and all the options.

Great service and great response time.

That's crap. They don't seem to want business

Hmm, might have to have a look at what they offer
