My engine needs replacing as the bearings went out.

So I was thinking of doing some mods.

I'm shopping around for on an exhaust and advice for a liberty GT 04. Mechanic will have the exhaust while changing the engine. so he will fit new one at no charge.

I think an auto with a loud exhaust sounds like arse, because of the varying revs with the torque converter on load.

I'm actually more interested in performance than sound, but thanks for your 2c I will put towards my new exhaust.

Any brand preference? Unfortunately with the exchange rate you'll be paying megabucks for anything JDM. You might want consider universals like Magnaflow or something a bit dearer like HiTech. If you're after performance I recommend a canon style exhaust, as they are the least restrictive.

Dang it, why didn't anyone tell me my exhaust sounded like ass? How embarassing! I thought my system sounded at least like leg or foot, but ass?
