HI everyone,

The plastic around the globe retaining clip has disintegrated on my passenger headlight so it can't hold a globe in place anymore. I did try a home fix but it only lasted a few weeks before breaking as well.

Before i go and buy a regular set of headlights, is there anything available for the gen 4's that's different to the standard? Something like the Mars Performance crystal lights for gen 5's?

Bake them apart and replace the projectors with D2S projectors.

Thanks for the idea, didn't even know it was an option.

Found a bit of a walkthrough on a US forum, just need to source the kit....if anyone has a suggestion i'm all ears.

Heaps of options. Easiest would be "black series" projectors, which are used on most Subaru OEM HID headlights

You can grab the Morimoto Mini D2S 4.0 or G5-R

Or you can grab something off Yahoo Auctions Japan (e.g. RHD version of the "black series" projectors, or complete HID headlights for your car).
