I've just ordered a MY15 Liberty 2.5i and am looking at the options to upgrade the foglight surrounds.

The fogs on the 2.5 Premium and 3.6R both have chrome trims around the light whereas the 2.5i come without the "bling".

Any suggestions as to where I can source the parts. Obviously I'll start at the spare parts counter, however if there's a better/cheaper source for parts for these new cars that would be great.

OK so these have got LED DRL in them also but they're not a cheap item. Though I'll reserve my judgement on pricing until I get the price for the dealer spare part.

Went to the dealers the other day and you can get the upgraded fog light surround for $60 a side ($120 for the pair) so I'm going to go this way.

There's also an option for a mesh grill for ~$500 which looks interesting, though haven't seen one of these in the flesh.

Picked up the new Liberty 2.5i last night with the upgraded foglight surrounds fitted. These are a direct replacement part with the chrome trims from the 2.5 Premium - cost $120 and it finishes off the front end nicely.



The other difference between the 2.5i and the Premium is that the insert in the front headlights is black in the premium whereas the 2.5i is silver. This would require a whole headlight replacement so it's not on the cards. Though I will be looking to upgrade the bulbs at some stage as they're a little on the yellow side for my liking.
