1998 Subaru Liberty 2.2L to 2.5L engine swap

Gday, I have recently been offered a new 2.5L Liberty from my grandparents but I love the hell out of my 1998 2.2L Liberty. I thought about swapping the 2.5L with the computer into mine for some extra power but I'm worrying about all these problems with the Head gaskets I'm hearing, just wondering if anyone is in the same boat or willing to give me some suggestions.

The my97/98 EJ25 can be a great fun motor.
We had the 97 RX 2.5 for years.
YEP, did do cam cover gaskets but only once in 11 years!
Definitely not the GT but plenty of useable driveable torque.

Would it not just be easier to swap to the 2.5l chassis instead?
