Hey guys, picked this car up in Pearl Blue just recently, loving the drive, must admit the turbo lag is very noticeable!

Thinking of some future mods, stockpile up some funds and do a few at once with a tune, so far with minor research i'm looking at;

Turbo Dump/Down pipe
Sway bar kit front and rear
Springs/shocks/coilovers. Adjustable coilovers sound amazing, would definitely like the car a bit lower in time, no rush though

I don't have much of an idea yet, but i'm getting there! What's the go with equal/unequal headers causing that fantastic rumble! I do like the sleeper look, but that rumble sounds amazing.

Would appreciate any ideas and brainstorming.

first thing i would do is get a ecu edit done by Kido tuning, one time fee and free touch up tunes if you change anything later down the track and it will get rid of the lag

Ah that sounds great because of the touch up tuning, is there an expectance to get other mods done through "kido tuning?" Expected power increases?

Quick google fu shows that the KiDo tune is one you apply yourself? Must admit I'm not confident enough to begin messing around with that shit on my lonesome.

First of all, what you're experiencing is not turbo lag. That would be physically impossible due to how tiny the stock turbo is. The lag is DriveByWire (DBW) lag. In a traditional cable setup your foot is physically linked to the throttlebody, but instead it is all done electronically through the ECU, which can sometimes add 1-2 seconds to your car reacting to you planting it

Dump pipe + tune are best bang for buck performance mods IMO. Netting a decent gain for a relatively low cost. Doing the rest of the exhaust will help but the bang for buck slowly lessens. Swaybars/replacement bushes (front LCAs especially) will also make your ride that much more enjoyable. A lot of us go with the adjustable coilovers, even on dailys with no real issues. It depends if you like the stiffer ride or not.

Due to the design of the turbo setup on the 04-06 Liberty GT being Twinscroll (equal length headers), it's not possible to acheive the 'Boxer rumble'

Turbo lag attributes a bit though? I didn't know about the electronic factor, although it does seem logical.

Is there many examples of kW ratings from stock after dump pipe + tune, any combinations you guys can recommend at a reasonable price?
No good about the boxer rumble, not too fussed though as the Liberty is definitely a sleeker, more sleeper like car.

What would I require for a full set of adjustable coilovers?

Where would be the best place to check out my central locking not working? Checked battery in both keys, I know it's going to cost me, just want someone reliable and fair price for quality work.

Is it just one door that doesn't lock / unlock?

Well one actuator is stuffed, but also, NEITHER key (with 3v batterys both checked and tested) works, so I have to use the key in the drivers door, when using the internal unlock/lock button, every door except one will actuate and close and open just fine.

Is the driver's door actuator not working?

Do the indicators flash when you press lock/unlock?

Does the boot lid release button work?

Hey mate, NOTHING works from the remote on the key, process so far is;

Open drivers door with key
Use the "unlock" "lock" button on drivers side door to unlock and lock all doors in the car (except rear passenger door which doesn't work)
