I'm looking at a grille and lip on IM.

Would these fit my Liberty? They mention they're for A ~ C Type, what does this mean?

Here in Japan they don't use 04, 05, 06 etc to ID models. They use the Applied Code, A-F for Gen 4. A-C is what is called pre
facelift in Aus so basically 04-06. D-F, 07-09 is post facelift. Your 09 is an F (BP9F on your VIN plate).

Had a look and the same guy also has a lip listed for D-F but states it's for a GT not Spec B. He hasn't listed any part numbers for either item so you can't be 100% sure.

The grill description says "Legacy spec B/3.0 A ~ C type genuine grill." Would that fit on my '05 3.0 Outback (BPE)?

Not sure if Legacy and Outback grills are interchangeable. I think they may be but maybe someone else knows for sure.

I'm pretty sure the Pre-Facelift 3.0R and GTB share the same grill (size wise) as the Outback of the same era
