To grille or not to grille?

Here's where you can ask for suggestions what MODs you should consider. Let the experts tell you what you should add.

Do it Phil! Now that your appearance has changed, you should get a new grille that's a better match (mesh!!!).

Thats the change I made on my Jan08 car - one piece bar under badge to full honeycomb. Are we talking about the other grille that looks like it has two bars that end at the sides of the badge?

Looks like an STI with the red badge, and no central badge holder.

And one quesiton to you all... Do you know what the shopping costs would be like to buy from japanparts.com

'Cause I'm trying to weigh up whether i should buy form a member here or buy from japanparts.

The price from the member is $430 + $15 postage
While japanparts.com quotes at $294 + ??? postage

So which would be a better option? The fellow forum-er I'm buying is PHATGT and from what I've read he's reliable and haven't heard a single bad thing said about buying from him, so I would obviously rather buy it form him. However if the price gap is say $100+ I'd definitely consider buying online.

Any thoughts or info you fellas can give me?

Arith, bought a spec b grill form japan parts i think.

PHATGT will definately help you out, and mayb help you install the grill aswell (which is easy anyway)

Yeah freight cost will make a the difference if not close to it.

Like I said, if you are going ahead with it let me know! I'll sell you mine as I feel like a change.

Yeah I think mine is the spec B grill ... I've just removed the centered subaru logo and clipped on the STI ;)

Well.. Which is the better option in your opinion.

Like I said earlier I'd rather buy from some of the boys here on our forums rather giving money to others else where.
