Impreza STI Seats into an 08 Lib STI

I've always wondered whether or not front seats from an Impreza STI would fit into my 08 STI Liberty or not.
Has anyone done this, and if so, what series/year model Impreza seats did you use?

Do you lose the electric seat functions with the impreza seats?
I'd love those in my car, but was also tossing up having the GTB seats re-bolstered as an option (way) down the track

Yes unfortunately you lose electric functionality - but the benefit outweighs this downside for me

You can of course fork out more for different recaros that are electric.
Second hand rex ones are affordable though if you get lucky and find them.

They look great. Pitty about the loss of electric option (both passenger and drivers on the 08')
I do miss the STI Impreza seats from my old ride.

If see this a plus, the only time I actually move my seat is to clean under it and it takes AGES!
