Painting fog surrounds

Postby Joshy » Tue Feb 26, 2013 11:44 pm

Considering painting my foggy surrounds, has anyone done it?

Do you recommend it, or does it look sh1t?

Something like this: http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_ima ... _large.jpg

I think it would go nice with black mesh grill, sti front lip and gravels I am planning on ?

i tried it with mine using plastidip, didnt look good imo as our front bumper is different to the usdm one. ours foglight surround sits flush while the usdm one is recessed.

They sure look the part but I just googled them and they sound TERRIBLE. Maybe your stock 04 horn was different model to my 07, cause mine sounds great as it is.

The horns?

If I recall correctly, they are located closer to the headlight stock, I think its just a matter of unplugging the current ones and then finding a place to mount the new ones, I think they have a relay too.
