I was wondering is it possible to use the pre facelift projector fog light on a post face light?

would like to install the projector fog light with hid

Just put the HID in the reflective housing.

No cop will know the difference. They will see blue and pull you over regardless.
That's why I don't drive with fogs on unless I'm out the back where I live just for extra visibility for kangaroos.
HID fogs look rice as hell anyway on the road, regardless of projector or reflective.

The light output of HID bulbs in a projector fog light housing is rubbish anyway.. IMO does not add to overall visibility when driving at night. That being said, I don't know what they'd be like in a reflector housing though (it's all too common to see bogan commonwhores with HIDs but that's an actual headlight, not fog light)

+1 it's not great.. purely for looks if anything..

I've seen a few ford/commodore with hid for their fog light, they use them without their headlight driving around at night. stupid but it was bright

might pass on this idea, as everyone above said it's pointless

If the purpose is for light colour just get bluer halogens.

If you want bright driving lights just get driving lights.
