I think if you let someone else pick your wheels you'll be disappointed.
More satisfying if you pick your own.
Try google and maybe viewtopic.php?f=19&t=5633 for a headstart

If you want cheap try second hand rims or rota or something.

G'day Sam,

Yep, I agree with Rooby but nothing wrong with a bit of guidance along the way. I'm going through similar heartache with my Violet Grey - not an easy colour to work with.

I was thinking of hyper silver or maybe white which can look pretty good. Personally, I don't think that black or gunmetal is going to work (but then I don't like black rims, anyway).

As to which rims, well, despite some comments on here, how about some Rotas as Rooby suggested? Their price isn't too bad and for around the streets, should be just fine.

Here's some pics of a blue Lib (well, it's actually a Legacy but close enough) that I really like. Not sure what the rims are, though.

cheers,

bj

Let me just straighten up that i don't want "CHEAP" rims i just don't want to pay extra money because something says STI on it when i could get something just as good in every way for half the price. As we all know it is very hard to find good looking rims to suit your car without actually seeing them next to it.

Im also just looking for suggestions not someone to pick them for me.

Those photos you up loaded BJ look pretty sweet.

Silver (not chrome, although some like that) and blue generally go together well.

White on blue usually looks quite good but stands out a lot more, which you may or may not want.

That's why I mentioned that post and google in my first reply.
Because there are loads of pics with libertys with various rims and pics are better than someones personal opinion.

The STI rims don't just cost what they do because they say STI on them, they are ENKEIS at the end of the day which are not cheap rims.

hey, I have a set of 18" 3.0rb rims I could sell u. they are in decent condition, with Yokohama Advan A10 tyres (about 80% tread). the tyres alone cost $800..I'd be happy to give the whole lot to u for that much? let me know what u think.

cheers,

^ spam :angry2:

On a more serious note, are you more a fan of the multispoke look or more spaced 5 or 6 spoke look?

Any particular colour?

Yeah On the liberties i am more of a fan of the multispoke look, but in general it really depends on the vehicle. I have purchased a set of Rota gravels for now because they look very good and are a bit cheaper as well.
