Exhaust worth doing?

Postby park0 » Mon Feb 20, 2012 4:13 pm

Looking at putting this exhaust on an 07 liberty b spec wagon auto (non turbo), is this the best option for the price range and any comments on how it will sound??

Their are a few cars on this fourm who have the full Xforce cat back system on their H6 and they sound great. Not sure about droan as I've only heard them @ WOT.

I purchased my xforce mid & ypipe section through Chris @ best mufflers and can't speak highly enough of him, plus his prices are very competitive :D

You could get a custom system made but probably end up costing more so for the money I think the xforce system is good value.

Appreciate the advice, so from what I gather It'd be best to call best mufflers, get a price for the front muffler assem and y/pipe, and look elsewhere for smaller rear mufflers possibly quad tip..

Also if anyone knows where I could purchase a mesh grille would be very helpful.

Thanks

Xforce / Varex systems kick ass!

It will be loud (but a nice sound)and it will drone on the hwy in 5th and in 6th but not utterly annoying.......I had this exact setup on my car originally....until I changed the mufflers to varex.....now I have the best of both worlds :D

Also depends on your dump pipe setup

G is on the money, contact Chris at Best Mufflers in sydney.
Their customer service is great, i made purchase of the stainless steel system, the next day he called to tell me he couldnt get one in SS but had some coming in Mild Steel and asked if i was still interested, and said he would refund me the difference the same day!
and the price gets better :D
The full Xforce system in mild steel is $440 and roughly $40 express freight to melbourne.

im going to be installing mine in the coming weeks.

I would say, ring Xforce in Sydney first for the right parts and quote, and then ring your nearest Xforce dealer and tell them you wanna order the parts and mention the quote provided by Xforce, you will get them much much cheaper(even cheaper than BEST MUFFLERS) believe me. I saved hundreds of dollars on my Xforce turbo back system purchase doing this way. BTW no offends. :D
MSR quoted- $1200 SS without mufflers (not delivered) or $1550 fitted
Best Mufflers- $1100 SS without mufflers (not delivered)
But I got them for $835 delivered :D
