the rear bar from a pre facelift sedan is completely different to the rear bar of a pre facelift wagon. so if it doesnt fit mine, it will only fit a wagon or both post facelift wagon and sedan, as their bars look pretty much similar all round

im pretty sure the short ones that fit in between the mufflers fit both sedan and wagon.

the long ones that extend past mufflers are not interchangeable between sedan and wagon.

I've been thinking about trying to fit one of the longer diffusers to my pre face sedan. Was thinking if you could get the little black bits of plastic off that sit on the sides of the bumper it might fit.

Correct.
Jaydece (Justin) was selling one a long one he had for his face lift GT that I went and looked at in my preface lift GT but wouldn't fit. From memory the section for the mufflers where slightly wider from centre (Justin might chime in here if he reads this, remembers).

Argh you have a wagon! I C now..my mistake..

The Ultrex diffusers look nice and does pretty up the back, especially the longer ones, however...maybe it's just me..but..they look mild, if you know what I mean. Does anyone know of any aggressive diffusers for the lib, without going custom? ..possibly something like the one on the Ford RS??

I bought Justins Ultrex rear diffuser and it fits perfect on my MY08 Spec B GT, my panel beater gave it a coat of flat black (it was a bit grey 4 me) 2 match my front Ultrex lip, if u in melb, I can show u hot it looks, it def makes the rear more aggressive! :)
