3M Carbon Fibre Wrap

I'm looking at some vinyl wrap to put on parts of my interior around the radio/air con and near door handles, I've seen the 3M around abit on these forums and I've come to like this look, my interior is basically the same as the pic below except mine is silver in colour (not a mac :()

hopefully your getting at what I'm trying to do here, most the ones i have seen are in the black carbon fibre, I've found a website that sells other colours

what do you think?? stay black or try something else?

Stay black IMO if it's a carbon fibre pattern. Have you considered some wrap with a woodgrain pattern?

nah havent seen any wood grain ones, although I did just google 3M carbon fibre wrap maybe I need to open up my options, do you think black against the silver would match up?

Black on silver would look good...going black on black would be too bland. If I had black interior I would be going with CF wrap, but I've got grey, so I'm thinking a dark woodgrain.

just not 100% sold on the wood grain look, only after looking at a ton of gen 3s prior to purchasing my lib, it could work just need the right colour on the right colour

lol I'm not a fan of the woodgrain in the Gen III either...little bit different in the Gen IV as it's just the sides on the console. Let us know of your findings, goodluck :)

gotta go black, ties in nicely with dash...woodgrain would suit if your 68 and driving a Jag... 8)

I was tossing up between the black and silver carbon when I did mine.

I think either would look good.

I think the black on black with yours works, but as mine is a 2.5i I only recieved the silver stock head unit, just trying decide between the black and silver :D

I used the black wrap on mine... ties in nicely i think with the Mcintosh unit

I have a fair bit of the black carbon 3M wrap left over, Id be willing to send enough to cover the parts you want to do for very little :)
