Need advice with Panel filter

Postby jery » Fri Jan 27, 2012 5:37 pm

Hi fellows,

I'm looking forward to get a set of Panel filter for my 07 Liberty STi,
I was wondering, if anyone has been using or used Cosworth Performance filters on their Gen IV Liberty GT/STi?
What would you guys recommend? HKS or Cosworth?

Please advise me,

Cheers

HKS panels through PHATGT are about $95 delivered. They are, imo, a bit better then the K&N filters and you don't have to worry about using too much oil on the filter everytime you clean it.
Car(s): Steel Silver MY10 GT Wagon + 1985 Subaru Sherpa

Mods: (GT) HKS Panel Filter. The HKS I put in the MY10 is the same filter I took out of my MY05 GT. So yes, they do fit. Custom leather heel pad to minimise carpet wear in the drivers footwell. Slotted front rotors. (Sherpa) 14'' 6 Spoke mags, Chrome Gear Shift (sick!), Alloy Pedals (sicker!), new positive and negative battery terminals, Alpine cda-9827 H/U, JBL GT 6x9's boxed and mounted (sickest!), Kicker DS650.2 component speakers mounted in the footwells in flibreglass pods, Alpine MRP-F200 4 channel amp (4x40wRMS), Rebadged with hektik chrome eBay badges, STi stickers for more powaaaa, "leather" handbrake boot, recarpetted with grey/black car carpet from Bunnings, sick Clarke Rubber boot mat, polished and waxed.

Ah, I knew it had a 5 in it. I must be thinking of the cabin air filters for the MY10+

:offtopic:

Advice is a noun, which means an opinion that someone offers you about what you should do or how you should act in a particular situation.

Advise is a verb, which means to give information and suggest types of action.

LOL, I knew these Mr.champ......
Please "*advise me means "I need some info" or "Please let me know" its verb then, I need an *advise or Please give me an *advise is wrong usage......
I put "advice" in the subject, bços its noun then.

Cheers
