Hey All,

Might turn out to be a dumb question with an obvious answer (like, get an aftermarket grill or don't install the badge).

But, I love the look STI badge on the front grill, and I was hoping to install one like some other forum members. Problem is, I've got the stock honeycomb grill (do not wish to replace).

How have other people installed these STI badges? (without replaced the honeycomb grill)

Silicon/sikaflex?

I tried doing this too a while ago but with an sti badge without the clips at the back and only double sided tape. Did not want to stay put on the honeycombe grill so yer would either have to stick it on with some strong adhesive or tie it on somehow.

Nah havnt put it on yet, the honeycombe grill isn't the flatest surface and really has minimal contact area so you'd need some good silicone I reckon.

As the honeycomb grill isn't flat, like you said, how do you plan to position the badge?

I think it looks best on the top right corner (opposite driver side) of the grill, but the curve is massive. I'm sure you can stick it anywhere with a strong adhesive, but the point is, I want it looking like it is supposed to be there.
