Bling up my STI

Here's where you can ask for suggestions what MODs you should consider. Let the experts tell you what you should add.

I am looking at getting a set of 18" Volk CE28n bronze rims at the start of next year and was wondering what offset/dimensions I should get to suit my lib and to clear brembos etc (18x9 5x114.3 +50 offset)???

And if anyone knows of a good place to order from? I would probably get new tyres with them too. Dont mind the Bridgestone Potenza's on my car at the moment but any other suggestions?

Just starting a bit of research beforehand.

Very sexy! That blue-ish hue on the tips will look great on a white car. Don't think I have ever seen the K2's on a pearl white Lib.

I was at Tyre Power in Hawthorn Melbourne and they had a few sets of these wheels in stock. Don't know if they where for our cars but the look great. That will get anything for you if you are willing to wait or contact PHAT from here.
Also what did the K2 Gear mufflers cost you ?

Yer i sent Phat an email, the K2 mufflers alone are about $1500 (prolly more now with the dollar being what it is), but I got the whole cat back which included a brand new version of their centre pipe. The whole K2 system was about $3k, plus Phat dp @ ~$900. Im getting it fitted and tuned on Monday so will post up pics/video on tues.

Well good and bad news, exhaust is finally on with tune. Pretty happy with performance dyno read 215kw at flywheel with 353Nm torque.

Bad news is dump pipe is hitting steering knuckle when I turn...getting vibration through steering wheel. I'll contact phat tomorrow but will prolly have to get it re-bent at an exhaust place so it doesn't knock anymore.

I'll put up dyno reading and video soon. Happy with the sound, louder than I thought.

That's a pretty good dyno reading but I was expecting higher torque.. Did you get a graph as well?

As for the steering knuckle did phat tell you about better engine mounts? This guy had the same issue:

I might order mine now to prevent the same thing from happening to me! 8)
