Ok guys I have started my mods by buying a CAI off one of the boys on here,

Now im looking at a tune from CV performance in Taren Point at $890

G REDDY BOV $350

Timer $$

My problem is the exhaust:

Magnaflow mufflers with a proven 11kw at the wheels. (known to blow the packing after 3 months) $950 odd

X force 3" catback to 2 1/2" Y pipe. No proof of power gain but I have heard and seen this under a Forrester and it sounded and looked sweet. $1000

Some brand? S/S exhaust from CV performance full 3" system which he claims isn't loud (I DOUBT IT).

CV performance says that with the exhaust and tune I will get easy 30kw if not 40kw at the fly.


What would you do???

i say magnaflow, as i like the sound of them, but double check which magnaflow mufflers they are, as certain batches are very well produced and manufactured, you can generally tell by the quality of the welds.
