I'm not trying to flaunt it, but after drooling over liberty sti's in the showroom, like a child, I'm just pretty stoked that I recently found one worth buying... (low k's, not over priced or thrashed etc)

I've brought the badge for like $5 on ebay... but do I put it on or should I just get a "wanker" decal instead?
I'd rather a genuine emblem that fits the honeycomb grille if it exists.

Congrats on the new acquisition! Hope you're enjoying it! Especially since you've been eyeing one all that time. Just don't let the mod bug bite. I thought I was very happy with the stock STi. What else is there to modify? Everything's already done! Then the bug bit me and my happiness bubble burst.

LOL! What on earth is a wanker decal?

But the red STi badges off eBay, especially ones made for a grill with the 2 prongs in the back work perfectly fine. Looks pretty real to me. Can hardly tell the difference.

You have an STi so its perfectly acceptable to add an STi badge to the grille IMO.

The grille I bought came with one of those Ebay grille emblems. IMO, they look close enough to the real thing. I took it off though as my car is not an STi.

Mark being a all silver theme you should buy the silver/chrome STi badge instead

That badge went a long time ago Hamish.

Not entirely an all silver theme. Enkei's picked up today done in Subaru 36Y onyx metallic and 15% tint next Thursday.

Hmm, should've phrased the question better. To be as close to authentic as possible, what colour should I be getting? Pink or red?

The technical name for the color is cherry red.
