+1 Rhino Sportz!
Thought I'd never use them - but of course they're indispensable! Wagon so handsome with a big ladder on top :bad:
I'm after the rubbers that go in the channels (Clarke Rubber or maybe Roofrack Super Store) - w/o they'll whistle like mad on the freeway...

PS there's a similar set going on Gumtree... http://preview.tinyurl.com/7954bfh

Yeah they have hooks in the pics.
Wagon versions bolt into the roof rails...

Saw a super shiny OBP GT-B wagon rolling down Johnson St the other day - looking rather hottt with a flatland BMX and fixie on the rax !!!

My head nearly twisted off!

Thought so. Seller has confirmed sedan.

Just need something to tow the bike around occasionally. Cannot justify $300 for new (plus the $ for the bike rack) for the little use they'll get, so the gum tree ones seem ideal.

You can also dodge the "plus the $ for the bike rack"...
A friend bolted a big piece of marine ply to his racks (or vice versa), with numerous holes routed in, bikes go on upside down and ladder or ratchet straps (with their own holes in the ply) do the holding. Just make sure your engineering is well in order...
At least 3 bikes on board for less than the price of 1 bike holder, plus the bike rack doubles as a cargo holder - and the whole lot comes off in 1 piece = win.

Thanks for the pointer Benny. Just picked up the racks. Guy selling them got them new with his liberty - so no brand stamped on them.

I've sussed out how to bolt them on, but wondered if there's a specific area on the roof that they should be placed? I assume this is right?

Btw... Looks like he no longer has the liberty. There was a sti Rex hatch in the driveway.

Picked up a rola bike rack on eBay for $40 + shipping. Comes with a free ski rack missing the Allen keys I think.

Hoping the rack fits. If so, I got a bike setup for just over $100.
