Do you think you could do the inside door handles with this stuff?
How durable would it be?

A 4 month bump. now that is slack boy

But seriously, I am looking for this material now to do some minor interior shiny bits that keep flashing sunlight directly in my eyes. I am thinking about the shiny silver trim around the auto gear lever and maybe even the side trims of the centre console (the fake wood crap)

Shane, I like your work and let me know how you go with the rear diffuser cause I was considering this material for the standard rear Liberty black plastic trim.

Shane,

The 3M DI NOC is quoted as good for external use for up to 9 years. Are you using something other than 3M DI NOC?

Hey Shane, nice job! Looks like an OEM fitment!

I covered my whole car in Carbon Fibre Vinyl Wrap. Not a Subaru...but I am looking at buying a STi once the Mazda is sold.

Mike,

Thanks for the PM pertaining to your products and services. Perhaps you should consider creating a thread in the For Sale Commercial Vendors area so all members can get an idea of what you provide.

Apparently there is a new car specific wrap called 1080 from 3M.
Has anyone here tried/seen/heard of this yet?

3m 1080 .... A CHAMPION vinyl wrap! When we first used it, we were praising 3M non-stop for their first true vehicle wrap vinyl product !

We used 3M 1080 matte silver metallic on the front 1/4 panels of the Mini.

The 1080 CF is good for interior and exterior use.

Great stuff! Highly recommended!

What do you use for primer and do you know where I can get primer?

Where primer is needed (with permission from the client), we use 3M primer 94.

It allows vinyl to even stick to some porous surfaces, like interior scuff plates (sills).

1. Send Carbon Demon a PM and he will tell you, or
2. Follow some of the links already posted, or
3. Google.

Would you like any further assistance?

If anyone is interested, this is what it looks like in my 3Gen Liberty :)

It has a kind of textured feel to it, not like a bit of plastic. Easier to understand what I mean in person;
