OK "Gramps" - as per above - haha. I think that you've got the gist on how these turbo's are to be modded.

As others have said, the key is either grouping or selecting individual mods that effect certain parts of the engine performance. With each group of mods - it's best to track the performance gain / impact so tuning it is a good way to do this. Have a benchmark run first, then mods, then tune, then run the base line again. You will see what the impact to the HP and Torque is along the way. Hence why grouping the mods is good - you can see what the intake and exhaust does and so on and so on.

I think I posted a bit of info in your "intro" post about the suspension and wheels so I won't repeat it here.

Good luck and make sure you take into the PHATman. :D

Cheers

with regards to the tmic is there a brand that fits well? or is perrin about the best.
i am located in brisbane northside so suggestions for servicing & ecu tune would be great.
catch can is something i had forgotten but yes i agree would be good.had 1 on both my last holdens & worked a treat.
are there any walkthroughs for the catchcan install on the 07/08 libs?
silicon intake i had read was a pain.i did read somewhere that there was one that went on without having to play with the intake manifold, cant remember the brand, anyone?
thanks again for the info & please keep it coming.
cheers

DON'T FArKING BUY PERRIN EXHAUST!

my cat back didn't fit correctly, the pipes didn't come out level when u look from the rear, so i have to get them adjusted with a blowtorch

my down pipe was rubbing against the steering column and firewall... have to get it cut up, re-welded and HAMMERED to clear the steering column. still farking buzzes against the firewall, so i'm gonna have to rip it out and do more stuff to it. note that they did say that it MIGHT fit a RHD car...

the endlinks are fantastic tho.

I got all my stuff at Mercury Motorsports. I had a huge mod list also. What do you want from the car. Basic mods are the way to go unless you spend a lot like me made a few errors ect . Good learning curve but.

IF you want the best I would just get full exhaust, top mount, Air filter and tune. Should be good and you will get away maybe without fuel pump injectors. Also get that auto changed MV Automatics shift kit stall convertor.

Hope this helps.

Welcome aboard!

Plenty of modded Libs on here.. Generally the "prescribed" treatment is:

Exhaust/Intake/Tune for improved response and output...

Springs/Swaybars/Strutbraces for significantly improved handling...

Upgraded pads/rotors or Brembos for improved braking...

Tint/STi Lip/Aftermarket grille for improved exterior styling...

As has been mentioned, Phat is a good place to start for most bits...

Good luck!
