I also have got mine in now too, thanks to Michael. Just been unwell and busy and have not got a chance to take pictures yet. These would also look good in the sports model that has more silver around the ICC and on the door trim where the GT's have the carbon fibre strip. I've also got the Prova SI dial cap which looks great as well.

$1360 for mufflers?!?!?!

Subaru get it right every even model. The Gen6 should be a winner.

i wouldn't say $1360 including shitty GST + taxs + freight from Japan is alot to pay for very high quality mufflers considering Hi-Teck wants $1200+ for there quad tipped things

I'd get rid of all the chrome on the car - start with that rear garnish, get it colour coded.

Having just put the same mufflers on i think the price was reasonable considering its quality and that it is imported from Japan. They are really well built, have good sound, and performance increases plus aren't those silly backyard metal tubes you see Wah Choo boys sticking on their Excels! :D :D

I would say it is if you can get high quality JDM items for a lot cheaper (possibly limited on Gen5 atm). People just dont know where to look. If theyre happy to pay, thats their choice. Just saying theres other options out there if your willing to search.

I paid $550 + GST + taxes + freight from Japan for my HKS ones.

Is that for brand new and for dual sided mufflers?

Theyre here, approx 5000kms old.....

Im not arguing the fact of new, s/h etc, just stating there are other cheaper options out there for quality items and $1300+ is imo too expensive just for mufflers. :D

Sorry for the off topic to the OP.

There just isnt much on the market atm. Any one can pick up cheap parts for a model thats been around for a while. My cousin with a S15 was taking the piss out of me because I'm going to have to spend over $700 to get springs put in, when he can pick up a set of teins for $250.

There's always a bargain to be had if one looks hard enough. Import Monster, eBay, etc. And of course it's always going to be less for used. Some people are good bargain hunters while others just prefer the satisfaction of a new, unmolested item installed on their car. Especially people who don't have the patience and want it now now now! :D

Actually there's a lot lot lot lot more than what's exposed to the Australian populace. Just pick up any copy of Club Legacy, Hyper Rev, etc. The amount of stuff available for both Gen IV and Gen V is unbelieveable. Unfortunately those selfish Japs keep all the good stuff to themselves! :D But if you know where to look, you'll see alot of stuff that will amaze you. However since the Legacy isn't that popular to mod as the S15 or Skyline, one has to expect less variety.
