Thanks. I changed it because I find it doesn't blend with the panel around the gauges but it does now.
The paint (matt black) I used was from a powder coating company it is also useful to re-paint your wipers for the factory look

ahh thanks for the heads up, my wipers are looking quite faded aswell, hmm, looks like next time i have a weekend off i know what i'll be doing
