Hi all,
I just purchased a damaged Liberty B4 to remove engine and fit into a VW kit car but seems like too much modifications and $$$$ . things like the stock VW gearbox will not hold ect .

So i'm looking to do something with the car it runs great just body and chassis is damaged .

Looking for some ideas to swap running gear to another Suburu Liberty or other models if its worth all the trouble .

Not tempted to use Subaru Gears parts to run the Subaru engine & gearbox in the VW?
Looks like they only do reverse ring and pinion kits for ty75 5 & 5+1 manual boxes, so if the donor vehicle is auto, a manual box will be an added expense.
If you have a hoist or pit, you might swap the B4 engine, harness and running gear into an na shell in around 2 weeks full time on the tools.
