Is 220kw possible?

Yes, it is.

For context, my MY08 GT (2.5L) made 208kw on the same dyno with a TD05 20G - so the dyno is not exactly creative.

Just saying that with a careful selections of mods (and E85) some nice power can be made from the twin turbo setup.

Converting to single is not always the answer - I have a VF34 P20 and the other single conversion parts in my shed, but have chosen not to go down this track at present. I wouldn't expect any more power out of the VF34 at any rate.

Is 220kw reliable?

Well the car is driven daily by myself/my wife and has been tuned/running E85 for 6 months now, so I'm comfortable with where its at. Long term - time will tell.

Just thought this might encourage some TT owners to take it a bit further - but don't just go modding willy nilly (that will only end in tears and an empty wallet).

What supporting mods, in addition to your modded flashable ecu?

This is a Gen 3 Rev C (JDM) engine, so are a few differences between this and the AUDM B4. But essentially, power wise (off the top of my head):

- VF26/27 turbos (Manual JDM Rev C GTB turbos - highest flowing Subaru twins)
- DW 65c fuel pump
- High-flowed yellow top (side feed) injectors
- Biofuel compatible fuel lines
- Custom 3" turbo back exhaust/high flow cat/2.5" primary dump/Syms muffler - nice and quiet
- BOV-wastegate bypass mod
- Standard ECU modified by Eculabs/full bottom-up tune

Intake is all standard aside from a HKS panel filter.

Intercooler is standard - I thought this would be a real bottleneck.

I'll put together a full mod-list at some point, showing the drivetrain etc.

Hey mate nice results

I cant wait to get mine on the dyno. I have the Eculabs ECU aswell and only road tuned myself so far but its made a HUGE difference compared to the Xede piggyback i was previously running. She will brake traction when shifting to 3rd gear :D Had a run on the freeway with a mate in his 200kw forester, and pulled past him pretty easily

one thing that also made a huge improvement was the full silicon intake pipe, she breathes so much better now, i highly recommend

I really need to do a build thread

Build thread would be great! Keen to see what you've done. 6 speed or 4.44 5 speed?

These cars have a lot of potential and I think it's Eculabs that is really starting to unleash it. Glad to see some others getting onto it!

Full drive line out of 07 TBSTI Liberty so the 6 speed, once i turned the boost up the old 5 speed decided it was time to retire

Actual power figure im not sure about because shes never seen a dyno  bearings started letting go after about 10,000ks of 18 psi, it didnt fail completely just decided to upgrade to 6 speed before i got stuck on the side of the freeway.
