Hey guys anyone know if its possible to connect a sub and monoblock amp to factory headunit, i have new speakers I am simply going to swap over in the 6.5inch spots but connecting a sub is it more hassle than it's worth?

Yes its totally possible, not too hard i dont think, you need a low pass filter for a subwoofer (unless your amp has a LPF built in.). basically it only allows low frequencys which the sub plays without adding extra resistance to the speaker channel. use a rear channel because then when you fade it forward it stops the sub too. i also recommend adding a switch in the acc wire to the amp so you can turn it off if you have to.
