I've seen posts before of fixing this by loading it with all 5 discs. This realigns the CD that's stuck and they all come out.

Try that and advise.

nah that doesnt help as i cant even load a cd into it, its like the cd came out a little maybe. cant push one in at all. it says theres disc 1 - 3 in there but when i try to play/swap cd in stacker or push one in or try to eject, it just comes out saying
"Push Eject" and makes a couple clunky noises like the it wonts to get it it just cant lol

Have you tried taking your car to Complete Options in Westall Road. Next door to OTR.

They can sort out most things with car audio.

I just purchased my 2008 3.0R Spec B wagon yesterday, and already have the "CD Stuck" problem, dammit! I was loading a 3rd CD and for some reason, it's now saying there's a disc stuck in slot 6....weird.

Guess I'll try loading a few more non-important CDs and if that doesn't work, will have to take it to an audio installation place.

I’m taking the car to a local car audio place next week, so I’ll report back then. Also bought the GROM USB kit with BT, so I sure hope they can get the head unit working enough to enable that!

Well, the local guy wasn't able to get the CDs out and an "expert" that he knows charges around $800 to fix it, so I've just ordered a used unit from QLD. They tried the GROM out with the current unit, but because the radio automatically goes on when the CD fails to play, the GROM doesn't get control of the audio. :(

I haven't read all the posts and I am not familiar with the Macintosh units as mine has been replaced with an Alpine single dim head unit, but, I do know that it is not uncommon in cd/dvd players that there is a mechanical eject hole that you can use to force eject the cd. It is just a pin hole that pushes a lever that turns the mechanism and ejects the media. Have a close look with a torch and see if you can find it. Good luck..

Ok, I’ve got my replacement PF-28241 and the car is booked in, for changeover and GROM fitting. The “new” fascia is pretty scratched, so I’ll see if they can use the existing one and even just swap the CD players over, so the rest is still original kit.

Ok, so I’ve finally got the replacement stereo fitted and the GROM unit with BT working! The USB cable is not yet working, but that might just be settings - I’ll call the dude at Cushie Audio, when I have an hour to fiddle with it. (My local fitters called him today, but he wasn’t that helpful, ITO.) Total cost was $270 for the used stereo off eBay, about $350 for the new GROM+BT and $200 for fitting...dayum!

At least it sounds pretty good and it’s very convenient! (And certainly a big sound quality improvement on an FM transmitter.)

P.S: It was Autovision in Campsie NSW that did the fitting, I thought $200 was actually pretty cheap, for 2 half-days of effort.

Cheers,

Rough roads are a good fix for the stuck disk conundrum.
Fit coilovers and find a cattle grid to run back and forth over for a few hours
