I'm only going to say this once more. Please keep all posts respectful. Don't go making unfounded accusations.

Guys , I don't know about the liberty's clock but in WRX's , the solder connection on the board fractures but its very hard to see, I have done several , when you find the fracture you just re-solder it . My libertys hasn't played up yet but I asume it will be someting like that especially when they work sometimes and sometimes not...

Looks like tangcla is trying to make some $$$ , if anyone is in Sydney with a clock that doen't work, drop the clock in to me and i'll have a go finding what's wrong with it . then we can post it on so everyone can fix theirs... By the way it will be a free service and it should only take 5-10 minutes..

I'm not on here much so email would be best : wrxhoon@yahoo.com

I'm pretty offended by that statement.
It takes time to find the source of the problem, does it not? Clearly your time isn't worth any money, so you're happy to do it for free.

GTFO of my thread.

i can see he is trying to be nice, but that is one of the worst thread hijacks i have seen!!!

lets work this through,

so i take my dash to bits, take out the clock, drop it in to someone who has never worked on a liberty clock, hope they can find the problem, wait around while they fix it or have a hole in the dash while they muck around with it....

vs clarence

sell me a working clock, out, in done!

some people place no value on time clarence!

You want to charge $120 for 10 minutes? You are a rip off merchant.
Why not just put up a tutorial for others to see so they can do it themselves???
No one is asking you to repair their clock , just tell them what the common problem is..

If anyone gives me a none working clock , I will repair it and then tell everyone else how to fix theirs .

My time is worth a lot dude but I give my time for free to others as well.

I'm not hungry for $120 like you are, I earn enough money from my day job, obviously you DON'T.

You don't have to give me anything dude. As for having to take the dash to bits , you have to do the same if you paid for a new clock as well , so no extra work there .
I never worked on a liberty clock but I have on Imprezas and I bet the Libertys have the same problem .

If you can fix it in 10 minutes, it'd be worth paying $120 for  it takes me at least an hour, plus testing time in between.

Enough bickering guys - stop it right now!

wrxhoon, Clarence has made no secret about what he did, he posted about it here: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=8681

As stated, he's offering for sale a repaired unit which is now known to work. I can't see any ulterior motive here.

I'm going to unlock this topic again now, but will be keeping a close watch on it.

Mate - have you been married yet? Find a photographer who will do your wedding for free.

Ric, lock this thread. I'm sick of dipshits being keyboard warriors.

I don't like deleting or locking posts. I've split these posts out of the "For sale" topic.
If people want to discuss more about HOW to fix faulty clock modules, go ahead here.
If you want to carry on making accusations, or cheap jokes, you'll be talking to me in the near future.
