Aux for Non-McIntosh

I need to book my car in for a service soon, and was thinking I might get Subaru to install an Aux cable so that I can play my iPod/iPhone through my stereo without having to use a FM transmitter.
I tried searching the forum for a cheaper way to do this, however, all solutions seem to be for McIntosh headunits. I own a 08 Liberty Sedan 2.5i with the standard head unit.
Is anyone able to assist beofre I go get a quote from Subaru, or link me to another thread if this has already been posted.
