Hello,

Would any of you know if there is some connection from the existing HU to the immobilizer/security system in a 3Gen Liberty? I'm 99% sure there is none, but always safer to have a second opinion. Also, would anyone know where to get the picket and brackets to convert the double DIN to a single DIN HU? Thanks!

No security on the O.E headunit's. A headunit hooked up to the immobilizer?

It's already got the brackets for single DIN, you just need to by a DIN pocket to go there.

check out the aerpro website for single DIN pockets. Otherwise strathies stock them im pretty sure.

Thanks for the responses... I'm from Malaysia and I have seen cars back home that refuse to start after installers started mucking around with the audio system. Probably some ham fisted types that short circuit something, so I've always been careful in terms of electrics in cars I'm not familiar with (yet... )
