hey guys,

just a quick one...

I have the stock 09 sound setup, which is tweeter and 6"(maybe 6.5") in the doors and i am getting an amp for a seperate 8" sub in the parcial shelf....

i was thinking might as well get a 4 channel, and use the other 2 channels for the front speakers
my question is....

can i tap the signal from the 2 wires coming out of the loom out of the front doors, but which colour are they, and are those wires the ones i need to cut n re send to the amp...

or should i just get to the back of the original stereo, and cut and tap of the wires there???

not sure which way to go, and which wires are which
any help???

thanks heaps again everyone, and HAPPY LATE NEW YEAR! :P

if you're going to the trouble of tapping into the wires at the door grommets you might as well run new wires into the doors.

Otherwise tap into them at the heat unit harness. The harness wiring schematic has been posted here a few times before.

Just take it from where it connects to the headunit. No point running new wire when the factory stuff is more than adequate.
