Hi All,

I am thinking of getting the Clarion EA1251 ipod adapter for my MY06 Liberty (with Sat Nav).

Is this the best option to go for ipod and McIntosh? Where is the best place to buy this unit and get it install in Melbourne?

Any suggestions or comments?

Installation is very straightforward. I can help you with it - once you track down a n EA1251.

I just sold mine, sadly, it would have been easy to sell and install to someone local... blame Russell for that one

Yeah can you fellas keep me in the loop too! I also want one of these! They work with Iphone dont they? It just doenst charge iphone correct?

Ahh..ok - very nice

if I knew there was this much demand for an EA1251... I could/would have sold it for much more than what I let it go for!

why don't you guys try calling Clarion for availability? I bought mine from RYDA in Sydney

installed the unit on the bottom of the Macintosh and wired it through to the centre console. As i have a Sat Nav

the 1st gen Iphone and 1st gen Ipod touch can be charged.....Iphone 3g and 3 gen Ipod touch can not be charged but can be played..(so don't go on long trips!)

I did a write up (without pics due to flat batteries in my camera)

+ They say that one works with iPhone! Meaning it should charge it!!!
