iPod connector for MY07 2.5i factory standard radio

Postby WeeGraeme » Sat Oct 31, 2009 1:32 am

Hi, All.

I did try to search for the answer to this question, but all of the posts I found seem to have been in relation to cars with McIntosh radios.

I have a MY07 2.5i sedan, with the standard radio fitted. It has no aux input fitted. Is it possible to add an aux input? I specifically want to connect an iPod Classic.

Hi There,

if it has an AUX button, then the iPod connection can be added - I have had it done to my 07 2.5i, with the Kenwood stereo.

Got it done at No Limits Car Audio - in City Road, Melbourne - took the guys about an hour - needed to get an inline filter as well, as the factory radio is prone to a bit of hiss with an AUX In...

very happy here ... :)

Thanks, Drew.

I'll have to see if I can find someone around here then. Brisbane to Melbourne is probably just a little far to have an ipod connection fitted. :-)
